STATE, FEDERAL, LOCAL AUTHORITIES SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP IN FINDING MISSING TEENAGE GIRL
Savannah Leigh Pruitt disappeared two weeks ago. The 14-year-old was last seen at her Madisonville home January 13. Now, the Federal Bureau of Investigation has joined the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in searching for the girl, and they’re asking for the public’s help in locating her.
Savannah, who stands five foot three and weighs 110 pounds, has blonde hair and blue eyes.
Randall and Christina Pruitt moved their family back to Madisonville from Lawrenceville, Georgia, toward the end of December. Savannah is the eldest of the couple’s four children.
Sheriff Tommy Jones of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said, in a notice on the MCSO Facebook page, the agency is enlisting the public’s help. Anyone who has information about the girl’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at (423) 442-3911, (423) 442-HELP, or call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND.
The sheriff’s office Facebook page also indicated Savannah may have traveled to the Corbin, Kentucky, area.
