STATE REP. RON TRAVIS TO RUN FOR RHEA COUNTY EXECUTIVE

State Representative Ron Travis, after serving District 31 in the Tennessee General Assembly since 2012, has announced he will not seek re-election in 2026, opting instead to run for Rhea County Executive. Expressing gratitude for his time as a state representative, Travis emphasized his commitment to fulfilling his current term, which ends in November 2026, while remaining active in the 2026 legislative session.
Travis, alongside his wife Laura, announced his candidacy for Rhea County Executive, saying he aims to foster opportunity, growth, and vitality in the county.
