STAY AT HOME ORDER IN TENNESSEE TO EXPIRE APRIL 30, 2020; MAJORITY OF BUSINESS ALLOWED TO REOPEN MAY 1, 2020

Today, Governor Bill Lee announced the order for Tennesseans to Stay at Home because of the coronavirus will expire April 30, 2020. The vast majority of businesses in Tennessee will be allowed to re-open May 1, 2020.

Senator Ken Yager said the Economic Recovery Group is working with industry leaders around the clock so that some businesses can open as soon as Monday, April 27, 2020. These types of business will be announced soon and will open according to specific guidance that will be provided in accordance with state and national experts in both medicine and business.

Governor Lee said he is advising state parks to reopen by this Friday (April 24, 2020) so Tennesseans can start enjoying the outdoors.
