Stella C. Davis, age 72, of Crossville, passed away May 4, 2021. She was born October 17, 1948 in Crossville, the daughter of Frank and Vesta Bolin Vanwinkle. She is survived by her husband: Junior Davis; sons: Drew Davis of Nashville, Rocky Davis (Kim) of Murfreesboro, and Ralph Davis of Crossville; daughters: Amy Rector and Elana Byrd (Curtis); brothers: Philip Vanwinkle, Charles Vanwinkle (Kathy) and Roy Vanwinkle; sisters: Thelma Boles, Lola Breeding, Pearl Coleman and Jackie Nealon (Larry); grandchildren: Christina, Alexander, Becca, Rachel, Seth, Hayley, Ethan, Jada, Makayla, Rene, Julie, Cain and April; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter: Sarah Davis; sons: Vester Davis, Ben Davis and Garth Davis; brothers: Arlin, William, Creed and Lester; and sisters: Alma Mildred, Dollie, Hassie, Arleava and Pauline. Funeral services will be held Friday May 7, 2021 at 1 p.m. central at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. central at the funeral home. Burial will be in Thomas Springs Cemetery.
