It did not take long for a Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office investigator to find and recover a Caterpillar skid steer reported stolen Tuesday. It was taken from a residential lot on Kanapolis Drive in Lake Tansi.

Later in the day, an investigator received a tip the skid steer was behind a mobile home on the 7000 block of Talahatchie Drive in Lake Tansi.

The owner arrived to take back possession.

The report identified a suspect in the case.
