STOLEN U-HAUL TRUCK BEING SOUGHT IN CROSSVILLE

Crossville police are looking for a stolen U-Haul truck. Officers say they were contacted by the manager of the U-Haul Company of Dooley Street Thursday regarding a 15-foot box truck which had been rented out on March 26. The truck had been rented for one day but had never been returned to any other U-Haul dealers.

Several attempts had been made to contact the renter, and employees had been looking for the truck, to no avail.

At the time of this report, police had been unable to contact the renter and so have listed the truck as stolen. It is valued at $50,000.

The truck identification number – located on the top of the box – is DC3581G.
