A Cumberland County deputy responded yesterday to the 2700 block of Westel Road for a suspicious vehicle left at the scene for days.

The officer ran a check on the 2011 BMW parked at the end of a driveway. It came back stolen in Roane County.

Rockwood police contacted the owner of the vehicle. He arrived later at the scene to take back possession of his car.

The report did not name any suspects in the theft.
