On September 6, 2025, at approximately 3:55 PM, the Crossville Police Department received a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that a tall blonde male stole her 2000 Lexus RX300 SUV, valued at $1,000, after taking her keys from Wells Road. A struggle occurred when she chased him, but he drove off with the vehicle.

The victim noted the male was with a woman and believed they were headed to Cow Pen Road. Deputies located the vehicle on Hwy 70 North, where Deputy Howard conducted a traffic stop and found Darian Nicole Wyrick, a 30-year-old white female, driving the SUV. Wyrick, who did not match the male suspect’s description, was read her Miranda Rights but refused to speak.

She was arrested for possession of the stolen vehicle and taken to Cumberland County Jail. The male suspect remains unidentified. The vehicle was secured at a gas station, and the key was returned to the victim.
