An alert Cumberland County deputy walking into Walmart in Crossville last Sunday (October 15, 2017) saw a man he knew was wanted. Officers took 54-year-old Dane Lee Duckett of Crossville into custody. While walking out of the store with the suspect, deputies were notified by dispatch that Duckett may be in possession of a stolen vehicle. Officers located the car that was reported stolen out of Gainesboro, Tennessee. A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed meth and marijuana. Duckett was charged with theft of property, manufacture, sale and delivery of drugs, simple possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
