Stone Memorial High School recognizes three students for being named Commended Students in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Keisha Hunsucker, Karen Parek and Kelli Carroll received a letter of commendation from Principal Kelly Smith. Although the three will not continue in the competition for the National Merit Scholarship awards, commended students place amount the top 50,000 scorers out of 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying test.
