STORM COULD CAUSE POSSIBLE LOCAL AND AREA POWER OUTAGES

A wind advisory will go into effect at 6 p.m. central this evening (Monday, January 8, 2024) and is set to expire at 6 p.m. tomorrow (Tuesday, January 9, 2024).
Weather officials say wind gusts on the plateau could reach 40 miles an hour.
Tree and tree limbs could be blown down resulting in a few power outages.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
Be sure to secure outdoor objects that can be blown away.
