Emergency agencies, VEC, TDOT, and County and City Road Dept’s have been busy this afternoon working to clear roadways from trees and power lines down caused by the thunderstorm that came through earlier.

Please allow extra time to reach your destinations this afternoon, use caution around crews working, and be prepared to seek alternate routes should the roadway be blocked on your afternoon commute. The damage is wide spread throughout the county.
