Wednesday gets our active weather pattern kicked off with scattered thunderstorms and a few could be severe in Northern Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, high temperature 80° Wednesday. We have a good chance of thunder showers on Thursday and showers and thunder showers likely from Friday through Sunday. By next week we could easily get 2 or 3 inches or more total from these systems. High temperatures will be cooler this week with 70s from Thursday on. I do not see any more real hot weather for a couple of weeks.
