SRO’s in Roane County, as well as other surrounding agencies, attended the Tennessee School Resource Officers Association’s Annual Conference. They took part in lectures such as recognizing characteristics of school shooters and digital threats to child sex abuse and students with special needs. They will bring this knowledge back to help make schools safer and their relationship with students and teachers stronger.
