At last night’s Crossville City Council meeting, Ariah Smith was honored with a proclamation as the March 2025 Student of the Month.

The proclamation reads, “Ariah Smith is always kind, and her fairness shows in the classroom. She works hard and spends time helping others if she can! A community of character partner. March is fairness month. Fairness is concerned with actions and processes that are morally right, honorable, and equitable.”

The mayor of Crossville and the Crossville City Council also took a moment to honor the Stone Memorial Middle School girls’ basketball team during a meeting last night.

A proclamation was given to the girls, which reads:

“On behalf of the city of Crossville, I would like to congratulate the Stone Memorial Middle School girls’ basketball team on their championship win! We are very proud of this team and their coaches. We appreciate each team member, patient, and coach’s dedication to this program and the sport. They have represented the city of Crossville and Cumberland County well.”
