Highs on the Cumberland Plateau will reach around 90 each afternoon, while the Tennessee Valley runs hotter with highs around 92. Tuesday will feel especially warm in the valley, where the heat index could reach 100. Nights remain mostly clear and mild, with lows generally in the middle to upper 60s.

There is little day-to-day change through the rest of the week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday all feature sunshine with no rain in the forecast. The only minor weather issue is some patchy fog possible toward Wednesday morning on the Cumberland Plateau.
