NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio – The Ohio BCI is investigating an officer-involved shooting on James Road in North Ridgeville that occurred around 7 pm Wednesday night.

The officer-involved shooting occurred after officers confronted the person in the front yard of a residence on the street.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner confirmed Thursday that suspect 41-year-old Jason Norris, pronounced dead at St. John’s Medical Center, was the suspect involved in the shooting.

Norris was wanted on a homicide warrant out of White County Tennessee in connection with the murder of his girlfriend, 32-year-old Megan L. Campbell of Crossville.

A press conference will be held at 11:00 A.M. at the North Ridgeville Police Department on Thursday.
