SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE CHECK IN ROCKWOOD LEADS TO DRUG AND WEAPON ARREST

From the Rockwood Police Department:
On October 10, 2025, Sgt. Campbell observed a vehicle idling at The Clean Machine Car Wash for over an hour around midnight. Officer Lee and Sgt Campbell approached the vehicle, which then left the scene and pulled into Murphy Gas Station.
During a consensual encounter, the male driver admitted to falling asleep in the car wash stall. A meth pipe was observed in plain view, prompting officers to detain the male subject. He disclosed possession of a firearm and narcotics.
A search of the vehicle revealed the following:
Firearm
• Canik TP9SF pistol
• 1 round in the chamber
• 15 rounds in the magazine
Suspected Methamphetamine
• 2 bags in the center console (5.00g and 7.74g, total 12.74g)
• 1 bag in a black bag (1.26g)
Drug Paraphernalia
• Meth pipe (driver side door)
• 2 digital scales with residue
• Bong with residue
• Small brown glass container with white crystal residue
• 17 small resale baggies
• 2 clear baggies with residue
• Rolling papers
Suspected Marijuana & THC Products
• Glass jar with green leafy substance (believed to be marijuana)
• Glass jar with white substance (believed to be THC wax)
• Small plastic bag with marijuana shake
• 2 vape cartridges (believed to contain THC)
The male subject was arrested and these dangerous drugs seized. Removing more dangerous drugs off the streets of our city.
