UPDATE:

Crossville’s Tang Dynasty Restaurant (AKA Dynasty Asian Cafe), received several follow-up inspections since July, each time getting passing scores.

Crossville’s Tang Dynasty, located at 229 Interstate Drive received a failing grade of 69 from a Tennessee Department of Health inspector on July 25.

In the initial inspection, inspectors found food such as egg rolls, and shrimp weren’t hot enough to be considered safe to serve, while shelled eggs were kept at temperatures too high to prevent the growth of bacteria.

Also found were dented cans of bamboo shoots, uncovered containers of food, unlabeled squirt bottles, plastic containers on the floor on the floor of the walk-in refrigerator containing raw chicken, and a general lack of managerial control.

Since then, the restaurant has received a follow-up inspection and passed with a grade of 91.
