TBI INVESTIGATES DEATH OF MORGAN COUNTY MAN
OLIVER SPRINGS, Tenn. – At the request of 9th Judicial District Attorney General Russell Johnson, agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of a Morgan County man.
Authorities say that around 10 a.m. on March 29, deputies from the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department responded to a residence on Big Mountain Hollow Road in Oliver Springs. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 51-year-old Brian Keith Burton.
At this time, officials have not released any details regarding the cause of death or possible suspects. The investigation remains active and ongoing.

“TBI is assisting Morgan County with the investigation. Autopsy will take place tomorrow or Monday. Also toxicology will take a while longer. There is no final conclusion or decision yet, so no charges pending at this time.”
