TBI INVESTIGATING RHEA COUNTY INMATE’S DEATH
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into the death of a Rhea County inmate Wednesday morning. 30-year-old Amanda Davis was serving time for public intoxication and possessing drug paraphernalia. Her lifeless body was discovered in her cell. 12th District Attorney General Mike Taylor has requested the TBI begin the probe into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death. No additional information was available.
