TDOT RELEASED FINDINGS OF AUDIT OF UPPER CUMBERLAND HUMAN RESOURCE AGENCY
The Tennessee Department of Transportation has released its findings following an audit of the Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency’s transportation program. During the audit, officials flagged $130,249 in questioned costs. Some of the findings include:
- $40,960.94 in indirect salaries of eight employees.
- $13,639.55 in vehicle-operating expenses for non-program vehicles and $14,178.27 in fuel costs for non-program vehicles.
- $10,820.63 billed to transportation grants by the agency’s nutrition director, despite not performing transportation-related duties.
UCHRA recently fired Executive Director Luke Collins following an investigation into misconduct allegations. The UCHRA board named Mark Farley as interim director in the wake of the investigations and audit.
