TEENAGER KILLED, TWO OTHERS INJURED IN VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN ROANE COUNTY
The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a teenager in Roane County was killed in a two vehicle accident yesterday. The report states a 2005 Subaru Legacy driven by 16-year-old Austin David Edmonds of Harriman was traveling south on Duncan Hollow Road when he crossed the center line in a curve and sideswiped an oncoming 2006 Pontiac operated by 62-year-old Terry Stinnett of Harriman. Stinnett’s vehicle ran off the road, hit an embankment and flipped over. The teenagers car also left the roadway, struck a tree then came to rest down an embankment. Edmonds passed away from injuries sustained. Stinnett and a passenger in his vehicle, 55-year-old Barbara Stinnett, were both injured.
