TENNESEE HIGHWAY PATROL USING “GHOST STRIPES” ON CRUISERS
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is “looking for new and innovative ways to promote traffic safety,” according to a Facebook post on Wednesday. The agency hopes to influence and change bad driving habits. To do this, THP has employed “ghost stripes” on some law enforcement vehicles. The stripes can be seen in headlights. The stripes glow but appear nearly clear in regular light from the side. The stripes have gone on “a few select aggressive driver enforcement vehicles,” the agency said.
