TENNESSEE BILL WOULD EXPAND ALCOHOL SALES ON THREE MORE HOLIDAYS
Tennessee Senator Jon Lundberg introduced State Bill 0266 yesterday calling to expand alcohol sales for three more holidays. Current law allows citizens to buy beer, wine and spirits from stores and restaurants on Labor Day, New Year’s Day and July 4th. This proposal would add Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter to the list. It still needs to go through a committee before lawmakers can vote on it.
