The Tennessee Volunteers defeated UAB last night 30 to 7 for homecoming. J.T. Shrout and Jarrett Guarantano split time playing quarterback. Guarantano went 13 of 21 for 147 yards with an interception and a 13-yard touchdown pass to Eric Gray. Shrout was 3 of 6 for 34 yards. The Vols Jauan Jennings had five receptions for 70 yards, along with a touchdown run after lining up at quarterback late in the second quarter. The Vols are now 4-5 on the season. They travel this Saturday (November 9, 2019) to play the Kentucky Wildcats.
