TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH COVID-19 REPORT – THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3, 2020

The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 17,978 active cases in Tennessee out of 159,546 total cases (up 1,715 cases since yesterday)

  • 141,568 recovered
  • 1,815 died (up 18 from yesterday)
  • 897 had to be hospitalized (down 15 since yesterday)
  • 2,260,931 tested (up 26,633 since yesterday)

(Deaths in counties are added to the recovered then that total is subtracted from the total cases to get an accurate number of remaining active cases)

ANDERSON – 69 active remaining cases out of 915 total cases, 8 fatalities, 20,189 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 17 active remaining cases out of 794 total cases, 4 fatalities, 5,809 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 217 active remaining cases out of 944 total cases, 17,933 negative tests, 9 fatalities

FENTRESS – 105 remaining active cases out of 269 total cases, 3,061 negative tests

PICKETT – 23 active cases out of 72 total, 823 negative tests, 1 fatality

PUTNAM – 306 remaining active cases out of 2,384 total cases, 29 fatalities, 23,361 negative tests

RHEA – 55 remaining active cases out of 663 total case, 5 fatalities, 8,229 negative tests

ROANE – 96 active case out of 662 total cases, 2 fatalities, 13,968 negative tests

June 1-30, 2020 – 116 up to 168 cases (second fatality reported with elderly female from Fairfield Glade on June 4 and third fatality reported June 17 with elderly male in Fairfield Glade)

July 1-31, 2020 – 173 up to 365 cases (fatalities reported on the 2nd, 14, and 17, 2020)

August 1-31, 2020 – 365 up to 826 cases (fatalities reported on the 13th and 24th)

September 1, 2020 – 831 cases

September 3, 2020 – 944 cases (revised new total)
