TENNESSEE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH COVID-19 REPORT – WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2020

The following is from today’s Tennessee Department of Health COVID-19 report:

TENNESSEE – 37,444 (down 625 cases from yesterday) active cases in Tennessee out of 157,831 total cases (up 1,502 cases since yesterday)

  • 120,675 recovered (up 1,790 since yesterday)
  • 1,797 died (up 16 from yesterday)
  • 7,061 had to be hospitalized (up 83 since yesterday)
  • 2,234,298 tested (up 20,349 since yesterday)

ANDERSON – 180 active remaining cases (down 9 cases from yesterday) out of 888 total cases (up 9 cases from yesterday), 8 fatalities, 19,786 negative tests

BLEDSOE – 36 active remaining cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) of 782 total cases (up 5 cases from yesterday), 4 fatalities, 5,809 negative tests

CUMBERLAND – 337 active remaining cases (up 3 cases from yesterday) out of 856 total cases (up 25 cases from yesterday), 17,599 negative tests, 8 fatalities

FENTRESS – 144 remaining active cases (up 13 cases from yesterday) out of 247 total cases (up 17 cases from yesterday), 3,011 negative tests

KNOX – 1,754 remaining active cases (down 6 cases from yesterday) out of 6,629 total cases (up 113 cases from yesterday), 61 fatalities, 99,066 negative tests

LOUDON – 245 remaining active cases (up 4 cases from yesterday) out of 973 total cases (up 10 cases from yesterday), 3 fatalities, 9,908 negative tests

MCMINN – 209 remaining active cases (up 9 cases from yesterday) out of 817 total cases (up 14 cases from yesterday), 23 fatalities, 12,377 negative tests

MEIGS – 45 remaining active cases (same as yesterday) out of 167 total cases (up 4 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 2,360 negative tests

MORGAN –  87 remaining active cases (up 4 cases from yesterday) out of 220 total cases (up 6 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 6,572 negative tests

OVERTON – 180 remaining active cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 450 total cases (up 11 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 5,400 negative tests

PICKETT – 32 active cases (down 2 cases from yesterday) out of 68 total (up 1 case from yesterday), 812 negative tests, 1 fatality

PUTNAM – 597 remaining active cases (up 8 cases from yesterday) out of 2,429 total cases (up 42 cases from yesterday), 30 fatalities, 23,044 negative tests

RHEA – 100 remaining active case (up 10 cases from yesterday) out of 672 total case (up 11 cases from yesterday), 5 fatalities, 8,176 negative tests

ROANE – 185 active case (up 10 cases from yesterday) out of 671 total cases (up 12 cases from yesterday), 2 fatalities, 13,812 negative tests

WHITE – 264 remaining active case (up 14 cases from yesterday) out of 566 total cases (same as yesterday), 7 deaths, 6,971 negative tests

August 1-31, 2020 – 365 up to 826 cases (fatalities reported on the 13th and 24th)
