TENNESSEE GOVERNOR EXPECTED TO ANNOUNCE SUPPORT FOR PERMITLESS GUN CARRY LEGISLATION
DEVELOPING STORY – Tennessee Governor Bill Lee is expected to announce this morning (Thursday, February 27, 2020) his support for legislation that would allow residents in the state to carry guns in the open or concealed without obtaining a permit.
Governor Lee is also expected to announce plans to update the penalties for those who use guns illegally.
Other states to put into play permitless carry include Alaska, Arizona and Arkansas.
