TENNESSEE SEPTEMBER UNEMPLOYMENT IS LOWEST IN HISTORY
Officials say Tennessee’s unemployment rate has reached its lowest in history. September makes the fourth consecutive month that the rate has dropped. The trend began in June when the rate dropped to 3.6 percent. July’s number was 3.4 percent and again in August, numbers dropped to 3.3 percent. Now the September rate has declined to a flat 3 percent. The national rate is at 4.2 percent.
