TENNESSEE VOLS KEEP THEIR #1 RANKING IN THE AP NATIONAL POLL FOR A SECOND WEEK

Likely by virtue of two wins last week, the Tennessee Vols have retained their number-one ranking in the National AP College Basketball Poll. This is the first time in the program’s history they’ve held on to that top spot for multiple weeks – and it took them overtime and Grant Williams going 23-for-23 at the free-throw line to do it. The only other time the Vols took the number-one AP spot was in 2008. Oh, and if that wasn’t excitement enough for U.T. fans, Grant Williams was named the SEC Player of the Week.
