Oh have you looked out this evening, shining brightly in the southwestern sky is the planet Venus and a crescent moon. We have a cold night ahead with temperatures dropping to around 30 degrees. Partly cloudy and chilly in the forecast on Tuesday with high of 42. Dropping into the upper twenties Tuesday night so we will ring in the New Year cold! Wednesday partly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s. Now the bad news, another big rain system is possible from Thursday into Friday after we just picked up two inches of rain over the plateau and over 3 inches in parts of Middle Tennessee. I will keep you posted on that system over the next couple of days
