THEFT CASES IN CROSSVILLE UNDER INVESTIGATION
Crossville police recently went to Middle Tennessee Natural Gas for a theft. A contractor for the company arrived to find his 6’ by 12’ trailer hauling two rolls of yellow gas piping missing in a non-gated area. A nearby surveillance camera footage revealed a driver in a white four door pickup with a light bar on top pulling the trailer away. Total loss was set at $4,175.
In a different case, law enforcement responded to a parking lot next to a boat ramp in Cumberland Mountain State Park. A back window of a unattended vehicle was busted and a purse was removed. The victims cell phone was also taken and was pinged to an area on Cox Valley Road near Crab Orchard. Authorities found it and the purse with the exception of a checkbook, debit cards and identification.
No suspects were named in either incident.
