The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office took a report Monday of a theft at a residence on Joseph Lane.

The homeowner, who is also living in Illinois, informed officers by phone a relative of their checked on the local residence to discover items missing.

An unknown amount of items were stolen inside the dwelling.

Officers noted around $3,000 in tools taken from inside a shed.

The report also stated a trailer and three vehicles were missing.

Authorities did not name a suspect in the theft.
