THEFT REPORTED FROM TRAILER AT CUMBERLAND COUNTY CONSTRUCTION SITE

Cumberland County deputies are investigating a theft of items from an enclosed utility trailer at a construction site on the 7000 block of Hebbertsburg Road. The owner states the trailer’s locks were cut and the latches were damaged, but the locked gate at the end of the property was not damaged. The items stolen include a seven-piece Makita drill set with batteries and a charger; a multi-piece Kobalt power-tool set including a circular saw, saws-all, hammer drill and light; miscellaneous Dewalt power tools; two Duo-Fast nail guns; a 10.25”-blade circular saw and a Stihl 26” chain saw. The items are valued at $4,000. There are no suspects at this time; an investigation is ongoing.
