On Friday, Deputy Joshua Matthews was requested to call a property owner about his property on Highway 127.

The caller said that he was selling the property to the State of Tennessee and had removed all his belongings. However, today an employee drove past the property and saw a van pulling out.

The employee went to check on the property later and found that a countertop with a sink was missing. The caller did not know if the property had been broken into or if there was any damage but wanted a report in case the state questioned the missing item.

No other information was known at this time and no suspects have been charged.
