THP RELEASES REPORT ON FATAL MORGAN COUNTY CRASH
A crash on Morgan County Highway claimed the life of a Wartburg man earlier this month.
“It looks like he lost control of the vehicle,” Roane/Morgan County Medical Examiner Dr. Thomas Boduch said.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the driver as 44-year-old Darrell Wilson Jr. According to the report, he was traveling north on Morgan County Highway on July 19 in a 2005 Ford Freestyle. The vehicle went off the road and struck a retaining wall. The report said it then went across all four lanes of the highway and struck a guardrail.
The Freestyle was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
