THREE ESCAPE INJURIES IN CUMBERLAND COUNTY VEHICLE ACCIDENT
Three escaped injuries in a vehicle accident in Cumberland County yesterday. Trooper Nicholas Neal says a 2017 Honda Odyssey driven by 36-year-old Jonathan Wayne Bradley of Concord, North Carolina was attempting to make a left turn on Highway 127 North onto Clear Creek Road in front of an oncoming 2003 Chevy Impala operated by 77-year-old Marolynn Crouch Bennett of Deer Lodge. The two vehicles collided with the Impala coming to rest on Highway 127 and the Honda on Clear Creek Road after spinning around. The two drivers and a passenger in the Impala, 81-year-old Raymond Maddox Bennett, were all restrained at the time of impact. Bradley was given a citation as a result of the accident.
