Three members of a family have been injured and a fourth is unaccounted for in connection with a house fire in Ooltewah. Crews were called to a house on Shady Oak Lane at 5:30 AM Wednesday morning after a neighbor heard a woman screaming. According to reports, the neighbor tried to get everyone out of the house but failed. Two adults and one child were injured, including the father who is reportedly hearing-impaired. They were rushed to the hospital while attempts are being made to find the fourth member of the family. Firefighters have had a tough time battling the blaze in the frigid temperatures. The house has been determined a total loss. At this time, there’s no word on what caused the fire.
