THREE WEEKEND DUI ARRESTS

Below are three arrests made by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office over Easter Weekend.
  1. Pamela Wolschon (04/18/2025, arrested by Deputy Caleb Cathey):
    • Deputy Cathey observed a white Nissan Rogue failing to maintain its lane on I-40 westbound, swerving erratically at high speeds (80-87 MPH), and nearly colliding with other vehicles. During a traffic stop, Wolschon struggled to operate her vehicle’s window controls, had slurred speech, and emitted a strong odor of alcohol. She was unsteady on her feet, had difficulty locating her driver’s license, and admitted to consuming two vodka beverages three hours prior. Wolschon failed to follow instructions during the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test and couldn’t maintain the starting position for the Walk and Turn test, posing a risk of injury due to her intoxication. Testing was stopped for safety, and Wolschon was arrested for Driving Under the Influence (DUI). She was transported to Cumberland County Intake, and a search warrant was obtained for her blood.
  2. Adolfo Gustavo Corrales (04/19/2025, arrested by Deputy Caleb Cathey):
    • Deputies responded to a vehicular accident at 867 Plateau Rd, where a white BMW was found off the road on its side. Corrales, the driver, was seen walking away from the scene and had a strong odor of alcohol. Deputies found a partially empty case of Bud Light he attempted to hide and an empty can along his path. The BMW had a voided Texas temporary tag and belonged to a motorcycle. Field Sobriety Testing wasn’t conducted due to a language barrier. Corrales had no driver’s license, only a Honduras ID card. Corrales was arrested for DUI, Driving Without a License, and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. He was transported to Cumberland County Intake, and a search warrant was obtained for his blood.
  3. Daydrian Dunaway (04/19/2025, arrested by Deputy Blake Richardson):
    • Deputy Richardson observed Dunaway driving a 2008 Chrysler Aspen erratically on 127 North, with a non-functional brake light, leading to a traffic stop. He exhibited glossy, dilated eyes, unsteady movements, and fidgety behavior, suggesting narcotic impairment. He was unusually erratic compared to prior encounters. K-9 Kilo, a certified narcotics detection dog, was alerted to the presence of controlled substances during an external vehicle sniff. A search found drug paraphernalia but no narcotics. Field Sobriety Testing was not conducted on-site for safety. A Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) evaluation was performed at the jail by Sgt. Massey and Dunaway was arrested for suspected DUI (narcotics), transported to Cumberland County Jail, and a search warrant was obtained for his blood. The vehicle was released to his family.
