A three-year-old girl was killed and her two-year-old sister was injured in a parking lot shootout last night in Nashville at 25th Avenue North and Dowlan Street. There were two children inside one of the vehicles in the lot. The girl died and her two-year-old half-sister sustained a gunshot wound to her arm and is expected to survive. A 23-year-old man was shot in his side and back area and a 26-year-old male was shot in his groin in the parking lot but separate from the car. Witnesses say a memorial was being held at the time for a separate shooting victim.
