A tractor-trailer accident in western Roane County on I-40 resulted in traffic backups for a few hours yesterday morning. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2017 Freightliner operated by 24-year-old Navdeep Singh of Dublin, California was traveling east at the 343 mile marker when he lost control, hit the guardrail and came to rest after the vehicle rolled over onto its side. Singh, who was restrained and not hurt, was cited for failure to exercise due care.
