TRAILER STOLEN FROM UNOCCUPIED RENTAL PROPERTY GARAGE IN CROSSVILLE

On February 2, 2026, Crossville Police responded to a theft report at the department lobby. A resident reported that his black metal 10-foot trailer with a wood-paneled floor had been stolen from the open-faced garage of his unoccupied rental property on Brown Ave. The theft occurred sometime between approximately 10:00 a.m. on February 1 and 10:00 a.m. on February 2.

The trailer was described as having a one-foot-tall railing around the floor, white wheels with new tires, a spare tire mount on the front right (with no spare attached), and a mesh back ramp. A light had been left on above the trailer in the doorless garage, but no security cameras were known to be present in the area, and the owner had no suspects in mind.

The trailer was not registered, and the serial number was not available at the time; its estimated value was about $1,000.

An officer searched the Flock system for the trailer during the likely theft window but was unable to locate it.
