Around 1:15 Monday afternoon Rockwood fire department personnel were sent to the Horsehead Corporation (American Zinc Recycling) where a train engine allegedly caught fire sending sparks over to an abandoned automobile storage area near the end of Furnace Avenue.  Quick response by the fire department kept the fire from spreading into the nearby woods. The fire was quickly extinguished by fire officials and Horsehead employees.
