TRESPASSING MAN ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION

At mid-morning Wednesday, Crossville police responded to a local restaurant for a report of a man trespassing. Officers found a “very nervous” man at the scene. He told them his name was Lucas Reed and gave a birthdate and Social Security number that turned out to be fictitious.

Officers found a state-issued card that identified the man as 43-year-old Casey Reed Holland.

Police told Holland he was under arrest for criminal impersonation, and was instructed multiple times to place his hands behind his back. He refused, then actively resisted their attempts to arrest him.

Police were eventually able to handcuff Holland, who was charged with criminal impersonation and resisting arrest; and a hold was placed on him for an active warrant from McMinn County. He was placed under $5,000 bond and is due in court June 3.
