TRIAL DATE DELAYED FOR CUMBERLAND COUNTY DOUBLE MURDER SUSPECT

A trial date has been delayed in Cumberland County for a man charged with double first-degree murder. Authorities say 75-year-old Warren John Nostrom is accused of fatally shooting 58-year-old Joy Nostrom and 54-year-old Mark Gunter in the parking lot of the school bus garage on Genesis Road in September of 2018. Warren Nostrom then reportedly tried to shoot himself in the head but survived. Motions were scheduled to be considered by the judge tomorrow morning (Friday, July 31, 2020) but has now been reset to September 4, 2020 resulting in the trial date of August 25, 2020 to be rescheduled to a date to be determined.
