Dickson County Judge D. David Wolfe scheduled the trial for Krystal Daniels this morning to get underway February 1, 2022 with jury selection. She is charged with aggravated child neglect in connection with the death of Joe Clyde Daniels.

A motions hearing is set for September 14, the same day as Joseph Daniels’ sentencing hearing. Joseph Daniels was guilty of second-degree murder of Joe Clyde and four other charges last month.

Krystal Daniels reportedly admitted she was home back on April 4, 2018, when Joseph killed Joe Clyde. Her oldest son stated his mother saw Joe Clyde’s body being carried outside. Krystal did not report the abuse or her son’s murder to police. Multiple searches were conducted over the days, months and years that followed, but Joe Clyde’s remains have never been discovered.
