A trial is scheduled to start December 12, 2023, for a Cumberland County man charged with child rape.

According to the superseding indictment issued in January 2023, 62-year-old Jimmy Harold Clark is accused of a crime involving a minor at or under the age of 12.

A status update will be held in Cumberland County Criminal Court this Monday (December 11, 2023) to hear any last-minute motions and to see if everything is ready for the trial to get underway the next day.
