A trial is scheduled to start a week from tomorrow (July 24, 2018) in Anderson County Criminal Court for a woman charged with homicide. Officers say the offense against 41-year-old Noelle Leigh Patty stems from a vehicle-versus-motorcycle crash on North Illinois Avenue in Oak Ridge in 2016. Patty also faces charges of reckless endangerment. The report states Patty failed to yield to 44-year-old Rufus E. Shephard while he was riding a Kawasaki Ninja and collided with him.
