Earlier this morning (Wednesday, November 22, 2023), the Tennessee Highway Patrol was involved in a short vehicle pursuit with a white Chrysler Pacifica Minivan.

The pursuit traveled off Interstate 75 onto Sugarlimb Road to Hotchkiss Valley Road West. The pursuit then briefly traveled into Roane County before returning to Loudon County on Pine Grove Providence Road, where the pursuit ended near Sugarlimb Road.

The occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody.

During the pursuit, it is believed that the occupants threw narcotics or a handgun out the window of the vehicle in the areas where the pursuit traveled.

Troopers are asking that if anyone locates these items, please do not touch them and call 911.
